Here are some of the questions asked:

My children are 3 and  6 years old typical kids. When and how do you think it is appropriate to introduce them to  non-duality, if at all. Would introducing them to this alternative "awakening path" be an advantage or hindrance from the perspective of becoming a healthy, functional and happy young adult? Should they be allowed to enjoy the ultimate dream before it is taken away from them?

Boy, those are great questions, and the very fact and way you asked them reveals a lot about your consciousness / awareness being on the right path. Here are the answers:

You introduce these concepts to your kids when they are ready and in a way that is appropriate for them. Nobody knows but you, when it is time... if at all. If you are even if you were not remotely aware of the consequences, you cannot make the wrong judgment call... ultimately. Your question however, we understand comes from the form, in the now, in the here, not from the ultimate.

Would introducing the "awakening path" be a hindrance or advantage to a developing child/young adult? It is irrelevant from the non-dual perspective, but on the practical level if the student is not ready, there aren't any teachers who can make them understand. On the other hand, if the student is ready, it is impossible to keep them away from it, no matter how hard you try.

As for allowing the dreamers to dream... is completely appropriate. When do you tell the truth to a child about Santa Claus? When they are ready. When do you tell a child or an adult that they were adopted? When they are ready. There is nothing wrong to play along with the illusion of Maya. However there becomes a time in someone's life when prolonging the illusion does more harm than good. Eventually, nobody can know it better than you.

How can ego give up life, the only thing it believes it is?

Ego cannot. this is why they call it "grace", a gift, but a gift we give ourselves ultimately. It would be silly to even ask an ego about it. Wouldn't it be silly to ask the sky to give up being the sky? How about asking a human to give up being a human? Ego is seen through to be an illusion, that does not have to be given up. Just like you don't have to give up believing in Santa Claus (hopefully), once you've realized the impossibility of flying reindeers, holding on to the story is just more painful than letting it go. Just like children, we don't go around trying to crack down the Santa Claus story (some probably do), but we enjoy it, indulge in it, trying to sustain it as long as possible.
